One year ago today, we held our FIRST vaccination clinic where we administered close to 1,000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to eligible members of the community at North Pocono High School. At the time, we had opened our doors just 3 weeks prior. We enlisted the help of our friends, family, and community members to make this a reality. Since then, we've held several vaccination events and have administered over 30,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as well as thousands of doses of other routine immunizations. We could have never predicted what an impact we'd have on our local community. Thank you for making our dream a reality. π₯°We'd like to offer a special thanks to all of our community partners including Lackawanna County, Interim HealthCare of Northeast Pa, Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing, Scranton School District, North Pocono School District & Kick COVID-19 Community Corps. As we move into our second year, Hometown Health Care of NEPA is happy to announce that we are accepting new patients - both children and adults!
